Here is the birthday card I made for our niece this year - she just LOVES Elmo.

Dawn Griffiths made a video with instructions on how to make these cute little guys (Oscar the Grouch not pictured).

Elmo: Scallop Circle Punch (Real Red - face), 1/2" Circle Punch (Only Orange - nose), 1 1/4" Circle Punch (Basic Black - mouth), 1/2" Circle Punch (Whisper White - eyes), 1/4" circle punch (Basic Black - eyes)

Big Bird: Scallop Circle Punch ( Yoyo Yellow - face), Small Oval Punch (Yoyo Yellow - beak & Pretty in Pink - inside beak), 1/4" wide strip of Yoyo Yellow for hair, 1/2" Circle Punch (Whisper White - eyes, Pretty in Pink - eyelids), 1/4" circle punch (Basic Black - eyes)

Cookie Monster: Scallop Circle Punch (Brilliant Blue - face), 1 1/4" Circle Punch (Basic Black - mouth), 3/4" Circle Punch (Close to Cocoa - Cookie - use Scallop Circle Punch for bites in cookie), Choc. Chip Marker, 1/2" Circle Punch (Whisper White - eyes), 1/4" circle punch (Basic Black - eyes)

Stamps: Circle Circus
Paper (for card): Yoyo Yellow, Only Orange
Accessories: 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon - Real Red

Mother's Day CASE

Hi Stampers,

As I work to get my blog set up and get into a flow, I will show you some of the cards I  made earlier in the year.  This one is a total CASE from Karen Menghini's blog http://twofriendsstamping.typepad.com.

I really loved the Sweet Pea DSP from the Occasions Mini earlier this year.  It is retired, but the great thing is that you can still purchase an add-on for the My Digital Studio (MDS) of Sweet Pea.  I have been leaning toward trying the MDS, even though I love traditional scrapbooking, and now that I have started blogging, I am going to jump in with both feet and spruce it up.
